Description
Semco Maritime signed a two-year service and maintenance contract with Orsted in 2019 covering the offshore Reactive Compensation Station (RCS) and the three offshore substations at the Hornsea One wind farm, which form part of the Hornsea 1 OFTO transmission assets. The work, managed from Semco’s Grimsby office, included routine service, corrective maintenance and general operational support to ensure high availability of the offshore transmission infrastructure during the early operational phase up to early 2021.
