Between 2010 and 2013, Ørsted carried out site surveys and geoscience investigations for Hornsea Project One, covering the offshore area and associated transmission assets that would later form the Hornsea 1 OFTO export cable and substation system. These early works provided the seabed and site data needed to support subsequent design, consents and construction planning for the offshore wind farm and its transmission infrastructure.
