Holmön Island Cable

Holmöportalen published an announcement on 25 May 2020 stating that Umeå Energi Elnät was starting work in week 22 (starting 25 May) to replace the 12 kV cable between Holmön and Stora Fjäderägg and that the work was expected to take 2–3 weeks. No later notices report delays or extended works, and by mid-June 2020 the local news feed no longer mentions ongoing cable work. On this basis, cable installation is considered completed approximately by 12 June 2020 (end of the 2–3 week window).

Local community site Holmöportalen published a notice dated 25 May 2020 stating that Umeå Energi Elnät "now begins" work to secure the electricity supply to Stora Fjäderägg. The notice describes replacement of about 2,000 m of 12 kV subsea cable and about 900 m of onshore cable on Holmön. It says the work starts in week 22, which begins on 25 May 2020. This is used as the onshore construction start date.

The notice says the work starts in week 22, which starts on 25 May 2020. This is taken as the cable installation start date.
