On 21 May 2024, the first of two 220 kV AC export cables for TenneT’s Hollandse Kust (west Beta) offshore grid connection was pulled underneath the dunes at Velsen, the Netherlands, completing the landfall pull-in for this cable as part of an installation campaign executed by the Boskalis–Orient Cable consortium.
