On 10 October 2022, following a climate agreement that moved Hesselø Offshore Wind Farm to an area south of the original site, the Danish Energy Agency launched a supplementary five‑week early public hearing on the revised sea‑based part of the Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) of the plan for Hesselø Offshore Wind Farm. The consultation, running from 10 October to 14 November 2022, invited stakeholders to submit ideas on the revised offshore plan, including implications for the offshore export cable routes.
