On 19 July 2024, the Danish Energy Agency approved the plan for Hesselø Offshore Wind Farm based on the Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) and the consultation responses received. The decision confirms that the plan, which sets the general framework for the future construction of Hesselø OWF and its grid connection, can be adopted, although it does not by itself authorise construction of facilities.
