Description
TenneT was the transmission system operator responsible for the grid connection of the He Dreiht offshore wind farm via the BorWin5 HVDC grid connection. The connection included an offshore converter platform (BorWin epsilon) and an onshore converter station (Garrel/Ost), with the wind farm connected to the offshore platform and power exported to shore via HVDC export cable circuits as part of the BorWin5 system.
