All 64 monopile foundations and their 32-metre transition pieces for the He Dreiht offshore wind farm were successfully installed by Heerema Marine Contractors’ SSCV Thialf, completing the foundation installation campaign. Each monopile, around 70 metres in length and weighing approximately 1,350 tonnes, was installed with full grouting and noise mitigation measures, achieving cycle times within the agreed schedule and securing a key construction milestone for EnBW’s project.
