Internal array cable installation at the He Dreiht offshore wind farm began on 10 March 2025, when Seaway7 installed the first 66 kV submarine inter-array cable that will form part of roughly 100 kilometres of internal cabling connecting all 64 Vestas V236-15.0 MW turbines to TenneT’s BorWin epsilon converter platform. EnBW reports that two Seaway7 installation vessels are being used to lay and bury the cables on the North Sea seabed.
