On 15 April 2025, Havbredey Limited submitted and issued the Offshore Scoping Report for the Havbredey Offshore Wind Farm to the Scottish Government’s Marine Directorate, marking the start of the formal EIA process and inviting statutory and non-statutory stakeholders to comment on the proposed offshore EIA approach. The scoping report sets out the environmental topics, baseline information needs, and assessment methods to be used, and the Marine Directorate will undertake wider consultation based on this document ahead of a future consent application.
