On 14 May 2024 a Notice to Mariners was issued announcing routine scour and inter-array cable survey operations within the Gwynt y Môr offshore wind farm off the North Wales coast. The notice explains that the vessel Norfolk Swift will carry out surveys around 80 turbines plus four reference turbines and along the associated inter-array cables under Marine Licence ML 11/52/ML/4, with work due to start on 27 May 2024 for about two weeks, and requests other vessels to pass at a safe speed and keep at least 500 m clear.
