Modus Seabed Intervention completed a high‑speed bathymetric and depth‑of‑burial survey of all inter‑array cable routes at the operational Gwynt y Môr offshore wind farm using its HAUV‑2 hybrid AUV system. Working from the DP2 vessel Noordhoek Pathfinder in high‑current conditions, the vehicle surveyed approximately 147km of inter‑array cables connecting 160 Siemens 3.6MW turbines, achieving survey speeds around four times faster than typical ROV‑based solutions.
