The 2010 pre-construction benthic survey programme for Gwynt y Môr was completed by 3 October 2010, after finishing grab sampling (21–29 September 2010), a camera survey on 3 October 2010 and trawl surveys from 27 September to 3 October 2010. The campaign identified four main sediment types and documented 472 fish individuals from 23 species and 39 epifaunal species across the survey area.
