In February 2021, Ofgem accepted Gwynt y Môr OFTO plc’s Exceptional Event claim relating to the SSEC3 export cable failures and associated Transmission Services Reduction, confirming that the event qualified for exceptional treatment under the licence and thereby securing the corresponding regulated revenue treatment for the OFTO.
