Ofgem granted an offshore electricity transmission licence to Gwynt y Môr OFTO, under which Balfour Beatty’s Services division is responsible for operating and maintaining the transmission assets connecting the 576 MW Gwynt y Môr offshore wind farm in North Wales to the onshore grid, with a 20‑year regulated revenue stream.
