The Gwynt y Mor offshore wind farm transmission system was fully commissioned in June 2015. The 576 MW project's offshore transmission assets reached full operational status, completing the grid connection for all 160 turbines in the Irish Sea off the North Wales coast. RWE (50%), Stadtwerke Munchen (30%), and Siemens Macquarie (20%) are joint owners.
