By 25 November 2014, RWE Innogy reported that the construction phase of the Gwynt y Môr offshore wind project was complete, confirming that all 161 array cables had been installed and that, since offshore construction began in January 2012, four export cables and two offshore substations had also been installed to serve the 576 MW wind farm off the North Wales coast.
