Description
Visser & Smit Hanab UK Ltd signed a contract with Gunfleet Sands Ltd (c/o DONG Energy) for the transportation and installation of approximately 9 km of export cable for the Gunfleet Sands offshore wind farm off Clacton-on-Sea, UK. The scope included the landfall at Clacton-on-Sea using a horizontally drilled conduit pipe beneath the sea defence system, with directional drilling activities planned for Q2 2008 and marine installation works scheduled for Q3 2008.
