Description
Stantec was appointed by GE Wind Energy (GE Gunfleet) to support the Gunfleet Sands Offshore Wind Farm’s onshore grid connection by carrying out an onshore cable route feasibility study from the beach landfall to the Clacton Grid. The work included route assessment considering engineering constraints and third-party consents, and geotechnical ground investigations including trial holes, boreholes and thermal resistivity testing to assess ground conditions for the onshore cable route and associated 132 kV infrastructure.
