Semco Maritime executed an electrical procurement, construction and installation (PCI) contract for the Gunfleet Sands offshore substation. The scope covered multiple electrical disciplines, including low-voltage systems, cableways and cable pulling, HVAC systems, firefighting and fire detection systems, communication systems, diesel power generation, and project management. The offshore substation topside was stated as 250 tons with a capacity of 108 MW, and the work was delivered over 2007–2008. The customer was CS WIND (previously known as Bladt Industries), with Ørsted identified as the end customer.
