Fichtner carried out technical due diligence for JERA on the 172.8 MW Gunfleet Sands Phases 1 and 2 offshore wind farm during JERA’s project acquisition process. The review covered planning and environmental consents, energy forecast based on operational data, turbine supply and technology, foundation review, scour and subsea structures, O&M contracts and maintenance strategy, vessel and port logistics, and OFTO asset interface risks. Fichtner also reviewed financial model assumptions and supported the management presentation and site visit with the majority owners.
