Description
Electrical Safety UK Ltd was contracted by Ørsted to undertake an arc flash risk assessment (arc flash study) for Gunfleet Sands 2 and 3 in 2020, including modelling of the electrical distribution system using EasyPower, site visits to offshore turbines for practical assessments on high incident-energy equipment, and engineering advice on protection settings to reduce incident energy levels on certain wind turbine electrical equipment. The scope also included arc flash awareness training for staff.
