Description
Electrical Safety UK Ltd (ESUK) was contracted by Ørsted to undertake an arc flash study for Gunfleet Sands (noted as Gunfleet Sands 02 & 03) in 2020, including gathering electrical distribution data, modelling the network, and carrying out short-circuit, coordination and arc-flash analyses. ESUK also delivered arc flash awareness training to staff, performed practical arc flash risk assessments on offshore equipment with high incident energy, and provided engineering advice on protection setting changes to reduce incident energy levels.
