The UK Secretary of State for Trade and Industry made the Gunfleet Sands Offshore Wind Farm Order 2004 on 25 March 2004 under the Transport and Works Act 1992, granting development consent for the construction, maintenance and operation of the Gunfleet Sands offshore wind farm and associated works in the Thames Estuary off Clacton-on-Sea.
