Offshore Wind Limited, a joint venture between Cobra Instalaciones y Servicios and Flotation Energy, was formed to develop offshore wind farms in Ireland once the country’s new legislative framework for offshore wind is in place. The joint venture’s planned portfolio includes the Greystones fixed-bottom wind farm with a planned capacity of 1GW in waters near Dublin, as well as the 1.5GW Blackwater project off the south-east coast.
