A January 2025 GREGY project presentation lists as a significant milestone the signing of the first agreement with the Egyptian Electricity Holding Company in 2010. This agreement marked an early formal commitment between Copelouzos Group’s ELICA company, which conceived the GREGY interconnection in 2008, and the Egyptian state power utility.
