Greenlink onshore enabling and construction works commenced in January 2022 in both Pembrokeshire (Wales) and County Wexford (Ireland). The developer, Greenlink Interconnector Limited, began preliminary onshore activities for trenches, ducts and converter-station enabling work as part of the wider interconnector construction programme, following receipt of core planning consents in 2021 and financial close in early 2022.
