Greenlink Interconnector Limited was awarded a €4.8 million grant under the European Commission’s Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) on 26 October 2018. The CEF funding was allocated to support immediate development activities for the project, in particular marine surveys in the Irish Sea, and was presented by Greenlink as contribution to early-stage development costs.
