OWC

OWC was appointed by Green Volt Offshore Windfarm Ltd to provide development‑stage cable engineering services for the Green Volt project, including the export and onshore transmission system. The scope covers engineering for all offshore and onshore power cables, with the subsea work focused primarily on the export cable from the offshore substation towards landfall off Aberdeenshire, as well as support to the inter‑array cable system design and alignment. Onshore, OWC has technical responsibility for the cable route from the landfall site to the onshore substation that connects into the National Grid. The engagement forms part of a wider owner’s engineering support role that OWC has provided to Green Volt since 2023.
