three 132 kV, three-phase high voltage subsea cables to transport the power to the feed-in point
Siemens Energy was awarded a contract by Fluor to provide the electrical components to connect the Greater Gabbard offshore wind farm to the UK grid. Siemens supplied two offshore substation platforms to be positioned at sea, three 132 kV three-phase high-voltage subsea export cables to transport power to the feed-in point, and a reactive power compensation system based on static var compensator technology to support voltage quality at the feed-in point.
