RWE was awarded a 10‑year contract for services and maintenance of the 140 Siemens 3.6 MW turbines at the 504 MW Greater Gabbard offshore wind farm, following a tender run by Greater Gabbard Offshore Winds Limited on behalf of joint venture owners RWE and SSE Renewables; the agreement, under which RWE will work closely with SSE who remains site operator, is scheduled to commence in early 2023 and take the project through to its planned end of life.
