Description
Equitix Investment Management awarded EDS HV Group a 15-year operations and maintenance contract for the Greater Gabbard offshore transmission assets. EDS provides a full turnkey O&M solution covering the two offshore platforms, the onshore substation and the grid connection, including the associated subsea export and inter-platform cables. The scope includes maintenance of the transmission equipment and auxiliary systems, provision of crew transfer vessels, marine coordination, high-voltage safety management and 24/7 network surveillance using James Fisher’s Offshore Wind Management System from EDS’s control centre, with the aim of maximising availability of the Greater Gabbard OFTO system.
