Fluor, acting as principal contractor for the Greater Gabbard project, contracted Siemens Transmission & Distribution (Siemens T&D) as the subcontractor responsible for the onshore substation, the offshore substation platforms and associated grid compliance works forming part of the 132 kV Greater Gabbard transmission assets connecting the wind farm to National Grid at Leiston near Sizewell.
