The first 132 kV submarine export cable (Module 3) for the Greater Gabbard transmission system was installed by April 2010, having been delivered on a Subocean barge in February 2010. This was behind the original September 2009 plan. The remaining two export cables (Modules 2 and 1) and the inter-platform cable were installed subsequently, with the final circuit (Module 1, Export Cable 1) energised on 31 May 2012 — 605 days behind the original October 2010 plan.
