According to Ofgem’s 2009 transitional project report, construction of the offshore submarine cables for the Greater Gabbard transmission assets—three 45.5 km 132 kV export cables from Inner Gabbard to shore and the 16 km 132 kV inter-platform cable between Inner Gabbard and Galloper—was planned to be completed by December 2010.
