During the planning phase after the 2005 investment decision, Energinet commissioned detailed geotechnical surveys along the selected cable corridor between the Fraugde and Herslev substations, using the results to optimise the submarine and underground cable route while aligning it with existing infrastructure and minimising land disruption.
