On 15 April 2024, a plenary consultation meeting known as the "Fontaine" session was held under the authority of the Préfet des Bouches-du-Rhône to discuss the grid connection for the floating wind farms off the Golfe de Fos, including the 250 MW AO6 park and its 500 MW AO9 extension. During this meeting, RTE presented the synthesis of initial technical and environmental studies and, together with territorial stakeholders, agreed the perimeter of the study area for the shared 225 kV connection that will evacuate 750 MW from the Golfe de Fos 1 and 2 projects.
