On 2 June 2023, Gode Wind 3 GmbH & Co. oHG, the project company for the Gode Wind 3 offshore wind farm, submitted an application to the German Federal Network Agency (Bundesnetzagentur) for an additional 19.68 MW of grid connection capacity on the offshore connection system NOR-3-3 (DolWin6). The developer requested temporary assignment of this free capacity from the commissioning of NOR-3-3 until the connection of the future wind farms on areas N-3.7 and N-3.8, expected around the third quarter of 2026, to enable use of power-boost functionality at Gode Wind 3.
