Ørsted’s Board of Directors took final investment decision (FID) on the Gode Wind 3 offshore wind farm in the German North Sea on 1 December 2021, approving construction of the project alongside Borkum Riffgrund 3. The decision confirmed that Gode Wind 3 would proceed using Siemens Gamesa 11 MW turbines and is part of Ørsted’s wider German offshore wind build-out.
