Ørsted awarded turbine transport and installation contracts for Gode Wind 3 and Borkum Riffgrund 3 to Seaway 7 and Cadeler, under which Seaway 7 will use its new jack-up installation vessel Vind 1 and Cadeler will deploy the upgraded Wind Osprey to install at least 48 Siemens Gamesa 11 MW turbines across the two projects, subject to Ørsted’s final investment decisions.
