On 28 February 2025, Ørsted and Nuveen Infrastructure’s 253 MW Gode Wind 3 offshore wind farm completed final testing and was fully commissioned, entering commercial operation at full capacity. Located in the German North Sea and connected to the extra-high-voltage grid in Lower Saxony via its offshore substation and TenneT’s converter infrastructure, the wind farm can now supply renewable electricity equivalent to around 250,000 German households and is operated from Ørsted’s hub at the port of Norden-Norddeich.
