Description
DEME was contracted by Ørsted to transport and install the monopile foundations and transition pieces and to carry out scour protection for the Gode Wind 1 & 2 offshore wind farms in the German North Sea. The scope included offshore installation under BSH noise mitigation requirements and secondary works such as connecting earthing cables by divers and survey/ROV works associated with scour protection and grouting activities. For Gode Wind 2 specifically, this corresponds to installation and scour protection for 42 monopile foundation sets.
