In the third quarter of 2015, Bladt Industries finalised all 97 transition pieces for the Gode Wind 1 and Gode Wind 2 offshore wind farms, with the last units ready for the final round of load‑out. The components, fabricated in Aalborg, Denmark, were divided between the two projects and form part of the monopile foundation systems beneath the Siemens turbines, including the 42 turbines of Gode Wind 2. Completion of this manufacturing campaign ahead of schedule was credited to strong cooperation between DONG Energy, GeoSea and Bladt, and ensured that foundation installation could proceed without supply delays.
