By December 2014, Bladt Industries had completed and readied for load‑out the first transition pieces for the Gode Wind 1 and Gode Wind 2 offshore wind farms. Fabricated at the company’s Aalborg facility, these XL transition pieces measure roughly 6 m in diameter and 30 m in height, each weighing more than 500 tonnes. Their completion marked a key manufacturing milestone for the foundation package, enabling the logistics chain for transporting foundations to the German North Sea installation sites serving both projects, including Gode Wind 2’s 252 MW array.
