In 2013, Ørsted (then operating as DONG Energy) selected Siemens (now Siemens Gamesa) to supply 97 6 MW offshore wind turbines for the Gode Wind 1 and Gode Wind 2 projects. The turbine supply agreement for the 582 MW complex included a five‑year maintenance contract to be provided by Siemens following the commissioning of the wind farms. This long‑term service arrangement covered routine servicing and reliability support for all turbines at Gode Wind 2, forming the initial operational maintenance framework for the project once it entered service in 2017.
