Cable Supplier Selected

As part of preparations for the initial Gode Wind II project configuration, PNE WIND AG entered into a preliminary contract with Draka Norsk Kabel AS for the supply of the internal wind farm cabling. The agreement covered the inter-array cable system required to connect the planned 84 turbines to the offshore transformer station. This cable contract, together with signed or preliminary agreements for turbines, monopile foundations and the substation, was submitted to TenneT to meet all four criteria in the Federal Network Agency’s position paper for maintaining an unconditional grid connection commitment, enabling grid connection planning and supporting the intended 2012 construction start.
