Description
Bladt Industries was awarded a contract by Ørsted for fabrication of the monopile transition pieces for the Gode Wind 1 and 2 offshore wind farms. The transition pieces were manufactured at Bladt’s Aalborg fabrication site in Denmark, with production starting in early 2014 and deliveries supporting the 2015 installation campaign; the transition pieces were split into two lots, including 55 units for Gode Wind 1.
