By October 2013, Global Tech I Offshore Wind GmbH had engaged Conbit to support the cable pull‑in operations at the Global Tech I offshore substation. A dedicated article reports that the operating company "entrusted Conbit" to assist the cable pulling contractor Prysmian Group. Conbit supplied and installed special lift booms in corners of the offshore substation where the deck crane lacked sufficient capacity, and provided operators for the full duration of the cable installation. The CS Sovereign vessel, operated by Global Marine Systems, laid 95 low‑voltage array cables (about 120 km) connecting all 80 turbines to the substation, after which cables were pulled through J‑tubes using Conbit’s lifting system. Additional J‑tubes were reserved for the export cable link to the BorWin Beta converter station.
