Global Tech I Offshore Wind GmbH awarded a long-term full-service operation and maintenance contract for the 400 MW Global Tech I offshore wind farm to Wind Multiplikator GmbH, a subsidiary of Semco Maritime. Announced in early May 2025, the agreement covers all 80 AREVA M5000 turbines and runs for an initial term of ten years starting on 1 January 2026. Wind Multiplikator will deliver scheduled maintenance, statutory inspections and certifications, troubleshooting with dedicated engineering support, preventive maintenance campaigns, a wind farm availability warranty, spare parts management, and Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) compliance. Logistics will primarily use a commissioning service operation vessel (CSOV), with all activities coordinated from Wind Multiplikator’s base harbour in Emden, Germany. The contract follows earlier turbine maintenance provided by Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy and consolidates Wind Multiplikator/Semco Maritime’s position as a full‑service O&M provider for offshore wind.
