Description
VMBS carried out preventative repair work on the GJ1 subsea interconnector between Jersey and Guernsey prior to its eventual replacement. The scope involved maintenance and repair activities on the existing subsea cable to preserve security of supply and manage emerging reliability issues until longer‑term reinforcement projects, including new links to France and the later full replacement of GJ1, could proceed.
