The HSI Joint Venture, comprising HSM Offshore Energy, Smulders, and Iv, has rolled out the topside of the second offshore substation (OSS) for the Gennaker offshore wind farm. The rollout took place at HSM Offshore Energy’s yard in Schiedam, the Netherlands. This marks a further manufacturing milestone for Gennaker’s offshore substations, with the joint venture now progressing from yard fabrication towards subsequent phases including load-out, sail-away, and offshore installation of the substation topside.
